The Wisconsin River, acting as a border between the Village of Whiting and the Town of Linwood, offers fishing and many beautiful scenic views.

The Plover River can be easily viewed from the Paper Mill Trail section of the Green Circle Trail as well as from Whiting Road.  The Plover River is south of McDill Pond and carries much history in regards to the area paper mills.
