Village of Whiting Fire & Rescue
The Village of Whiting Fire and Rescue Department is a 30 member paid-on-call suburban agency in central Wisconsin. We provide basic fire and rescue services for the Village of Whiting, as well as hazardous materials response to the entire county. The Department is a member of the Metropolitan Portage County Fire Protection District, along with our partners in the Village of Plover, we provide emergency services throughout the southern metro area. The Department is a charter member of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) Division 110, as well as the Central Wisconsin Collapse Rescue Team, and we participate in several automatic and mutual aid agreements with surrounding departments for both fire and rescue services.
We are dedicated to providing the best professional fire, rescue, and other emergency services to the citizens of the Village of Whiting as well as to all our neighbors and response partners throughout Portage County.
