The Village of Whiting is a village between the City of Stevens Point and the Village of Plover with a population of 1,760 (2000 census)
Whiting consists of residential, commercial, and wooded areas. In addition, the Village of Whiting also hosts waterways, such as the Wisconsin River and the Plover River, along with McDill Pond.
